“This was our first experience at a Sandals resort and we can’t wait to go back again. We were at Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica as a gift to each other for our 25th anniversary, which was in July 2008 and we took our trip in April 2009.”

1. First impression


When we first arrived, we saw the impressive lobby and surrounding buildings. Then we were welcomed and given a cold towel and sparkling wine before we took a tour of the grounds.

 

2. Romantic dinner on the beach


This was truly one of my best times. We reserved a private dinner on the beach. We got to choose our own menu, wine and dessert. That evening we got dressed, and were escorted to a table that had our names and menus on it. The wine was in a wine cooler beside the table and each course was brought to us by a smiling waitress. Talking and listening to the water, looking at the stars and enjoying each other’s company. It was really amazing!

 

3. Resort staff


All of the staff at this resort were always smiling and asking if we needed anything. The entertainment staff always had something new to do and were great at getting people involved. The restaurant staff were very prompt and took great care of us. Housekeeping was wonderful and the bartenders at the pools were so entertaining with their singing and mixing of drinks. The food prepared by the chefs at this resort was 5-star.

 

4. Beautiful grounds


I loved walking through the gardens with all the wonderful flowers. The grounds were always spotless and colourful.

 

5. Beach


This beach was perfect for romantic walks together on the white sand, day or night. Plus it was big enough that you had your privacy if you wanted.
