Excursions in Grenada

Tour of the Isle of Spice
Enjoy this island tour and discover spices and rum! Visit a spice plantation, nutmeg factory, rum distillery, Grand Etang and the tropical rain forest. A delicious four-course Creole lunch will be served at Helvellyn House – a tradi-tional country home with panoramic views set in a hilly tropical garden.

Seven Sisters Waterfall
An experienced and knowledgeable guide will trek you through the tropical rain forests to see the falls and swim  in the pool. This is a medium hike and you should be reasonably fit, wear comfortable shoes and insect repellent. Enjoy a complimentary drink.

Spice Splash
Tour some of the highlights of Grenada, including  St. George's, Concord Waterfall, Douglaston Spice Estate,  a nutmeg processing station, Belvidere Estate, and  Grand Etang Crater Lake.

Tropical Nature
A Southern Garden Tour featuring exotic flowers, LaSagesse Nature Centre (a nature reserve), a local rum distillery, and Westerhall Point on the rugged east coast.

Gouyave Fish Friday
Gouyave, the fishing Town in the parish of St. Johns, is  a 50-minute drive along hilly,  winding roads from Grand Anse. On Fish Fridays vendors line the streets with grills, fryers, steamers and cookers, and serve up some of the most mouth watering Caribbean seafood you could imagine including shrimp, jerk marlin, snapper, jacks and lobster.  It is NOT your typical “made for tourist event” but everyone is given a warm welcome.

Catamaran Cruise

Cruise from Lagoon Road. Stop at Grand Anse. Pass Glovers Island and sail through Prickly Bay. Snorkel, swim or relax and have lunch on Hog Island.
The boat will meet you on Grand Anse Beach. If your hotel is not on Grand Anse Beach a transfer will pick you up  15 minutes prior to your departure. Quality snorkelling equipment provided free. Free transfer back to your hotel.
Days vary and subject to weather. Full day, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Lunch and open bar. Returns at sunset.
