Day 1: Welcome to Costa Rica
Arrival at Juan Santamaría International / San Jose Airport. Meet and greet by Air Canada Vacations Costa Rica Representative (CRT). Our english-speaking tour guide will assist you with the hotel transfer. Next, depart for the INBioparque tour. (For arrivals on Monday: San José sightseeing tour)
INBioparque (Closed on Monday):
This sensory experience combines interpreted nature trails with multimedia technology. It is located in Santo Domingo de Heredia.
San Jose sightseeing city tour:
The sightseeing tour goes through the main residential areas and commercial districts of the city.

Day 2: San Jose – Sarapiquí
Breakfast, lunch and dinner included
After breakfast, leave your hotel for the Sarapiquí area visiting Tirimbina Reserve en route to enjoy the Chocolate Tour, where you will learn about the process by which cacao is transformed into chocolate. You will also taste different types of organic chocolate.

Day 3: Sarapiquí river rafting
Breakfast, lunch and dinner included
After breakfast, leave your hotel for river rafting. The rest of the day is at
your leisure. You can enjoy the lodge facilities or walk through the rain forest.
Half-day river rafting adventure tour at Sarapiquí River (class II-III rapids)
This tour is the best option for rafting beginners seeking thrills and good rapids.

Day 4: Sarapiquí – Arenal
Breakfast and dinner included
After breakfast, transfer to the Arenal Area for a tour of the Arenal Volcano and Hot Springs. Enjoy the lush scenery and the majestic sight of Arenal Volcano by the light of day.

Day 5: Arenal – Central Pacific Coast
Breakfast at hotel, all-inclusive accomodations at destination.
Transfer from Arenal to the Central Pacific Coast and visit Carara National Park during the transfer.

Depart for the a full-day tour of Manuel Antonio National Park (lunch included).

Day 7: Central Pacific

Day 8: Adios Costa Rica
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for San José’s International Airport and the flight back home. (2-hour drive to the airport)

Guests may request the services of a French- speaking guide at time of booking. This service is subject to availability and at an additional cost for individual travellers.
For groups of 10 travellers or more, there will be no extra charge.

During all transfers, there will be a stop en route for guests to disembark and use the restrooms.
